If this option is enabled for the item in the Management Console, overwriting the original price in the app will update the item list accordingly. The price itself is defined in the Management Console, as is the option to allow manual overrides. It is also possible to enable price overrides individually for each item.
Steps to perform a price override:
Open the RETAIL7 app.
Enter your login data and log in.
Open the Favorites menu by clicking on it.
The Favorites menu is located in the lower area of the display. Here you can also find all other menus that control the RETAIL7 app. The menus are always displayed after logging in, and you can navigate them using the sliding bar.
Select Price override.
Price override is only possible if it has been enabled in the Management Console and can be applied separately for each item. If not enabled, the function cannot be performed.
Select the reason for changing the original price.
In the Management Console, it can also be configured whether a reason must be specified.
Available reasons in RETAIL7:
Default – General placeholder reason.
Price guarantee – Adjusting the item price to match a competitor’s price.
Incorrect price – The scanned price is displayed incorrectly.
Product defect – The item is defective; the price is overwritten to €0 and excluded from the total.
Demo item – The item is stored only for testing and will not be sold to customers.
Goodwill – The item is given away free of charge.
Training – The transaction is executed for training purposes.
Other reason – Any other reason not listed above.
Press OK.
Enter the new price manually and click OK to confirm.
The price applies to the next item scanned or entered.
