When using the Return without receipt function, items must be registered manually via the item menus in the transaction. By contrast, the Return with receipt function is more secure, since the receipt confirms that the item was actually purchased in the current store or branch. Whether an item can be returned or not can be defined individually for each item in the Management Console. More details are available in the Item List section.
Steps to perform a return without receipt:
Open the RETAIL7 app.
Enter your login data and log in.
Open the Favorites menu.
The menu is located in the lower right area of the app, together with all other menus that control the RETAIL7 app. The menus are always displayed after login and can be navigated using the sliding bars.
Select Return without receipt.
A window opens called Return mode. Here you can choose the return of the specified items.
Select individual item(s) via the associated Item menu function button.
This opens the Item menu, where you can choose the item(s) to be returned.
Specify the reason for the return of each item and click OK.
Reasons for returns can be defined in the Management Console. More information is available in the Motives section.
Click End return mode and confirm the dialog box with Yes.
To return to Return mode, select No.
After ending the return mode, a negative total will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. If the transaction is continued, this amount will be offset against all other items.
