Since cash is securely stored in the cash drawer, correct configuration is essential to prevent unauthorized access. At the same time, the system must be set up so that authorized users can open the cash drawer whenever required. This is achieved using the Open Drawer function in the RETAIL7 app.
Steps to open the cash drawer:
Open the RETAIL7 app.
Enter your login credentials and log in.
Open the Favorites menu, located in the lower section of the app. This menu, along with other control menus for the RETAIL7 app, is always visible after login and can be navigated using the scrollbars.
Select the option Open Drawer to unlock and open the cash drawer.
Note: This function works only if a cash drawer has already been configured in the Management Console under My Organization -> Units -> CashDrawers.
